Santa Barbara Symphony, Glazunov’s Seasons painting performance

These are the 8 paintings performed with the Santa Barbara Symphony, conducted by Gregory Vajda, April 13 and 14 at the Granada Theater in Santa Barbara. I Painted on stage with the Santa Barbara Symphony performing to “Glasonovs Seasons” Saturday and Sunday to a full house of 1800 really nice people.

I felt the kindness. The music was divine. It was unbelievable painting with a live orchestra of amazing musicians.

I had only 9 minutes for the Winter movement, 5 minutes for Spring, 10 minutes for Summer, and 11 minutes for Fall. Also I had to paint them one after the other with no break so every second counted! Four separate canvases passed over to the wonderful stage hands, as I picked up the next canvas to be painted. There is a total of 8 designs for two performances.
